On July 8, at approximately 4:09 p.m., officers responded to the 5100 block of Reisterstown Road to investigate a call for a pedestrian struck.
Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive unidentified male. Officers were advised that the victim was struck by a vehicle. After striking the victim, the unidentified vehicle fled the scene. Medics responded, and despite life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced deceased.
CRASH team investigators responded and assumed control over this investigation.
