On July 17, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Western District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 1600 block of Delano Court, in reference to a ShotSpotter alert.
Once there, officers located 34-year-old Cordy Shaw and a 35-year-old female, inside of a home, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Medics responded to the location and pronounced Shaw dead at the scene. The female victim was transported to an area hospital where she is listed in critical condition.
