Homicide Detectives Assume Control Over Shooting Investigation in Western District

On July 3, at approximately 3:14 p.m., officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 2200 block of West Baltimore Street to investigate a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male suffering from numerous life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.

Due to the victim’s condition, homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
