On June 7, at approximately 3:43 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to an area Hospital for a reported walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment.
Once at the hospital, officers observed a 62-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the left foot. The victim is listed in stable condition.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim stated he was in the unit block of South Caton Avenue when he realized he was shot.
Southwest District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Southwest District shooting detectives at 410-396-2488.
