Southern District Investigators Searching for Woman Involved in Fatal Vehicle Collision

On March 11, 2023, at approximately 11:50 p.m., Southern District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) were dispatched to a crash in the 1100 block of South Monroe Street. One vehicle traveling northbound collided head-on with another vehicle traveling southbound, crossing the double yellow lines.

A female passenger of the struck vehicle sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at an area hospital.

C.R.A.S.H. Team investigators were summoned to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.  Investigators are awaiting identification, as well as next-of-kin notification for the female victim.
