Northeast District Homicide Detectives Looking for Answers in Fatal Shooting of 16-Year-Old

On Feb. 5, 2023, at approximately 6:16 p.m., Baltimore Police Department (BPD) officers heard discharging and received a ShotSpotter alert in the area of the 1800 block of East 29th Street.

Upon arriving, officers located an unresponsive 16-year-old Andres Moreno Jr. and began rendering aid. Medics arrived a short time later and pronounced the victim deceased.

Northeast District homicide detectives are investigating. Anyone with information, is urged to contact Homicide detectives at 410-396-2100.
