A young man accused of shooting a 50-year-old man in the face had his case dismissed on Jan. 9.
Montoya Cure Jr., 19, was originally charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, assault, reckless endangerment, and four weapons charges in connection to a shooting on March 10, 2022, on the 1900 block of McCulloh Street.
The victim survived the incident.
Defense attorney Michael Tomko told Baltimore Witness on Monday that the case was dismissed. No additional details were provided.
