A Baltimore City Circuit Court judge found good cause to postpone the attempted murder trial of co-defendants Keisha Clark, 46, and Tyrelle Fields, 38, originally scheduled on Dec. 15.
The case shifted from the courtroom of Judge LaZette Ringgold-Kirksey to reception court before Judge Melissa Phinn after the prosecution requested a postponement. During the Zoom reception court hearing, the prosecution informed Judge Phinn that both defendants rejected pleas.
The details of those pleas were inaudible due to poor connection issues.
Judge Phinn granted the postponement request and rescheduled the duo’s trial for May 15, 2023, before Judge Charles Dorsey.
Clark and Fields—represented by Andre Mahasa and Augustine Okeke, respectively—are both facing attempted murder charges for allegedly devising a plan for Fields to shoot Clark’s ex-boyfriend on the 700 block of North Paca Street. The victim was shot in his arm and leg.
