The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the evening of Oct. 14.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 5200 block of Nelson Avenue at 8:02 p.m. for reports of a shooting, where an unidentified man was found suffering from an apparent gunshot to the back.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Northwest District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Northwest District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2466.
