The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a fatal stabbing in the early morning on Oct. 5.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 1400 block of N. Central Avenue at 1:08 a.m. where a 43-year-old man was found suffering from a stab wound.
The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by medical personnel.
Homicide investigators have assumed control over the investigation. Anyone that has information about this incident is urged to contact detectives at (410)396-2100.
