Male Teenager Found Shot on Ward Court

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the afternoon of Sept. 17. 

According to a news release, officers were called to the 1500 block of Ward Court around 12:59 p.m. for reports of shots being fired, where a 16-year-old male teen was found suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot to a lower extremity. 

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Eastern District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
