The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the late evening of Aug. 26.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 400 block of Whitridge Avenue around 11:28 p.m. for a shot spotter alert, where a 20-year-old woman was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in the 2800 block of Greenmount Avenue.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
