A Baltimore man accused of homicide rejected a plea on Aug. 26 of life in prison, suspending all but 60 years with five years probation before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn.

Alex Benbow, 50, is charged with first-degree murder in connection to an incident on Jan. 20.

In July, Benbow rejected a plea of life, suspending all but 50 years with five years probation.

Benbow is represented by defense attorney Josh Insley and his trial is scheduled for Feb. 15, 2023.

It is expected to last four days with Judge Christopher Panos presiding.
