The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the morning of Aug. 10.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 1900 block of Edmondson Avenue around 10:43 a.m. when a motorist pulled up beside the officer and advised him that his passenger had been shot.
Medics responded to the scene and transported the 37-year-old male victim to an area hospital for treatment.
The exact location of the shooting is currently unknown to investigators.
