The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the early morning of Aug. 8.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 1800 block of Walbrook Avenue around 5:58 a.m. for reports of a shooting, where 57-year-old Antwine Smith was found unresponsive suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Medics were called to the location and pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
