29-Year-Old Man Shot on Bernard Drive

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the afternoon of Aug. 5. 

According to a news release, officers were called to the 1211 block of Bernard Drive around 3:54 p.m. for a shooting, where a 29-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot to his body. 

The victim was transported to an area hospital and is in serious condition.

Preliminary information reveals the suspect entered the location, shot the victim and then fled the area on foot.

Southwest District shooting detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2488 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
