Attempted murder defendant, Brandon Price, has accepted a plea of five years with three years probation before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Jennifer Schiffer on Aug. 2
Price, 32, was originally arrested on Jan. 26 in connection to an incident that occurred on Jan. 2. Price is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, use of a deadly weapon with intent to injure, and reckless endangerment.
Price’s defense attorney, Ronald S. Harris IV, accepted a plea offer on his behalf which lowered the attempted murder charges down to first-degree assault. For first-degree assault, Price was sentenced to serve 15 years suspending all but 5 years with 3 years on probation.
Under the plea, Price is required to stay away from the victim in this case and seek mental health treatment.
The details of the case were not discussed.
