The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the evening of July 16.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 6200 block of Fortview Way around 5:50 p.m. for reports of a shooting, where 28-year-old Dwight Douglas III was found suffering from gunshot wounds.
Medics were summoned to the scene and pronounced the victim dead.
Baltimore Police Department Homicide detectives have assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2100.
