Baltimore Man Shot and Killed in North Montford Avenue

A Baltimore man was shot in the upper body multiple times and killed on North Montford Avenue on July 4, according to the Baltimore Police Department.

Patrol officers were patrolling the area of North Glover Street when they heard gunshots on the 400 block of North Montford Avenue around 3:12 a.m., where 42-year-old Leroy Jeter III was found on the ground unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where the victim was pronounced dead shortly after.
