40-Year-Old Man Shot in the Head on W. North Avenue

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the evening of June 23. 

According to a news release, officers were called to the 1600 block of W. North Avenue around 7:04 p.m. for a shooting, where 40-year-old Robert Brown was found suffering from a gunshot to the head. 

The victim was taken to Shock Trauma, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

After shooting the victim, the suspect fled on foot to an unknown location, said police.
