40-Year-Old Man Shot in the Head on W. North Avenue

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the evening of June 23. 

According to a news release, officers were called to the 1600 block of W. North Avenue around 7:04 p.m. for a shooting, where 40-year-old Robert Brown was found suffering from a gunshot to the head. 

The victim was taken to Shock Trauma, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

After shooting the victim, the suspect fled on foot to an unknown location, said police.

Homicide detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2100 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
