The reception court hearing for a 17-year-old teen accused of attempted murder was rescheduled on June 23 pending a transfer hearing next week.
Jeremiah Jackson, who is currently being held at the Juvenile Justice Center, appeared in reception court Thursday morning before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn as well as his defense attorney, Lauren Dollar, and the prosecution. The defendant is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, and six weapons charges.
During the proceedings, the prosecution informed Judge Phinn that Jackson is scheduled for a transfer hearing on June 29. The judge agreed to reschedule the defendant for reception court on June 30 to discuss the results of the hearing.
The details of the case were not discussed.
