A 33-year-old Baltimore man was found not guilty on attempted murder charges after a week-long jury trial that concluded on May 27 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Lawrence R. Daniels.
Demario Henry was originally charged with first and second-degree attempted murder, having a handgun on his person, use of a firearm during a violent crime, and having a loaded handgun on his person in connection to an incident on Oct. 5, 2020.
Henry was represented by defense attorney Koryn High.
According to court documents, officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) were called to the 1800 block of Barclay Street for a report of gunfire and found the victim with several gunshot wounds to his upper and lower body.
The victim was taken to John Hopkins Hospital for treatment.
Six shell casings, four projectiles, and blood were found at the scene. According to BPD, the victim identified Henry in a photo array the next day.
