Over the memorial weekend, the Baltimore Police Department made over 100 arrests for crimes which include attempted murder, 10 robbery arrests, 61 aggravated assault arrests and 15 handgun arrests.

From Friday through Monday May 27- May 30, Baltimore City experienced eight shooting incidents involving five homicide victims and eight non-fatal shooting victims. There were also 17 confirmed robberies.

The BPD continues to work with our local, state and federal law enforcement partners and our communities in identifying and apprehending violent offenders to hold them accountable.

“Our officers continue to work around the clock to solve crimes, make arrests and hold those who commit these crimes to account,” said Commissioner Michael Harrison. “We must not accept the current situation as the status quo. Enough is enough. Let’s all work together to put a stop to these senseless acts of gun violence, remove the illegal guns off our streets and improve the quality of life for Baltimore’s residents.”

Anyone with information related to these incidents is asked to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-LockUp or contact our Homicide Unit at 410-396-2100.
