The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on the 400 block of South Smallwood Street on March 9.
According to a news release, police responded to a Shot Spotter alert on the 400 block of South Smallwood Street around 8:15 p.m. where they found a 41-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.
Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
