The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on March 8 at the 500 block of Dolphin Street.
According to a news release, at approximately 1:59 pm, Central District patrol officers responded to a Shot Spotter alert for gunfire in the area, where they found a 42-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the thigh.
The victim was taken to an area hospital.
Central District Shooting detectives have assumed control over the investigation.
