The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide late at night on Feb. 5.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 3200 block of Belair Road at approximately 11:33 p.m. for reports of shots being fired, where they found a 42-year-old Gregory Nelson suffering from gunshot wounds.
The medics took the victim to an area hospital, where he was in a critical but stable condition until he died shortly after.
Northeast District shooting detectives as well as homicide detectives responded and are investigating this incident.
