The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in the evening on Jan. 19.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 2400 block of East Monument Street at approximately 7:25 p.m. for an alert from a shot spotter, where they found four adult men suffering from apparent gunshot wounds with ages ranging from 24, 27, and 28-years-old.
28-year-old Tyrone Allen died at the scene while the fourth victim, a 27-year-old, is expected to survive, police said.
Once medics arrived, they took three other victims to an area hospital where 24-year-old Hassan Smith and another adult male victim, shortly died later.
One of the victims pronounced dead was a Safe Streets East worker.
