The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the evening hours on Jan. 15.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 2300 block of W. Lanvale Street at approximately 10:25 p.m. for reports of shots being fired, where they found 38-year-old Tarone Thompson suffering from gunshot wounds.
Once medics arrived, they pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
