A 69-year-old Baltimore man’s attempted murder case was dismissed Dec. 7 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Lynn Stewart Mays.
George Anthony, is charged with first and second-degree attempted murder, first and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, use of a firearm in a violent crime, possession of a firearm with a felony conviction, having a handgun on his person, discharging firearms, and illegal possession of ammo in connection to an incident on Dec. 22, 2020.
On Tuesday, Anthony’s defense attorney, Hunter Pruette, informed Baltimore Witness that the case was dismissed. Pruette would not provide further details.
According to Fox45 News, on Dec. 22, 2020, at approximately 6:18 a.m., officers responded to a home on the 3000 block of E. Monument Street where they found a 29-year-old female who had been shot in the right calf.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where she received treatment for her gunshot wound.
