An 18-year-old Washington, D.C., resident was recently arrested for allegedly shooting a man in the chest last month in Baltimore.
According to the Baltimore Police Department, Marcellus Lavay Walls was arrested in connection to a non-fatal shooting around 6:40 p.m. on Oct. 23 on the 2300 block of Argonne Avenue. The victim, who Walls allegedly shot in the chest, was taken to a hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
On Friday, police said Walls is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, firearm use in a felony violent crime, reckless endangerment, having a handgun on his person, having a loaded handgun on his person, and discharging a firearm in Baltimore City.
Following an interview with detectives, Walls was taken to Central Booking where he is being held without bail until trial.
Walls is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Dec. 14 in Baltimore City District Court, according to the Maryland Judiciary website.
