Amid Confusion, Trial Scheduled In Attempted Murder, Robbery Case

Scheduling for first- degree murder trial before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Copeland on Sept 16, 2026.

Davonte Reynolds, 33, charged with first- and second-degree murder and first-degree assault. Also charged with use of firearm in violent crime, possession of firearm with felony conviction and a handgun on person.

After some brief confusion because  Reynolds’  defense attorney Avrohom Greenfield wasn’t listed on his file, the defense expressed that a trial date was already set.

According to Greenfield, the trial was already scheduled for Oct. 17, but the prosecutor said that nothing had been scheduled for that date.

Even though the defense emphasized that the date was set and confirmed by Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge….., the defense agreed to set a trial start date for Nov. 4. The trial is slated to last three days.
