The Baltimore Police Department released the body-worn camera footage from an officer-involved shooting that occurred in the Central District on August 22, 2026, in the 200 block of N. Eutaw Street.
The video shows the events that occurred, leading to the officer’s discharge.
The driver, 29-year-old Tyrik L. Braxton of Columbia, MD, was transported to an area hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
The involved BPD Officer Samuel Thomas, a 20-year veteran, was also transported to an area hospital with neck and back injuries.
