Donte Mack, 23, pleaded guilty on Aug. 11 to conspiracy to commit first degree assault before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge John Addison Howard
Mack is charged in relation to a shooting that occurred on the 2300 block of W. North Avenue in November of 2024.
According to court documents on Nov. 11, 2024,, at approximately 2 a.m, officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of W. North Ave for a one-round ShotSpotter alert.
Upon arrival, they located 16 9mm casings and a laser device for a weapon, but no victim. Later officers were dispatched to Grace Medical Center for a walk-in shooting victim.
Speaking with the victim and a witness, the pair told police they were parked in their 2012 Acura when a suspect walked up to the vehicle and began shooting at them from the passenger side and rear of the vehicle. They drove to Grace Medical Center when they realized the victim was shot.
The victim sustained gunshot wounds to the right thigh, left thigh, right elbow, lower back. During the investigation one of the suspects in the shooting incident was identified as Mack. Citywatch surveillance cameras captured Mack and two other subjects arriving at the scene seconds before the shooting, making a U-turn.
Judge Howard sentenced Mack to five years suspending all but two years with three years probation.
