Baltimore Police Name Victims in May Homicides

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) has announced the names of victims in multiple homicides that occurred earlier this month.

Musa Witherspoon, 31, was killed the afternoon of May 5, on the 400 block of S. Gilmor Street. Though initially listed in critical condition, Witherspoon succumbed to his injuries.

Xavier George, 26, was killed shortly before midnight on May 6. He was shot while on the 1800 block of N. Durham Street in East Baltimore, and pronounced deceased on the scene.

Jamal Ferguson, 37, was killed during the early morning hours of May 7. Ferguson was shot while on the 4400 block of Fairview Avenue, and died later that morning at a nearby hospital.

Michael Parker, 34, and Rayvin Simms, 22, were both killed shortly before 1 a.m. on May 15. Both were shot in Central Baltimore, on the 1800 block of W. Lexington Street.
