The Baltimore Police Department announced a homicide investigation into a fatal double shooting that occurred in the Southwest District.
On May 15, at approximately 12:49 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 1800 block of W. Lexington Street.
Once there, officers located a 22-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Medics responded to the location and transported the victims to area hospitals, where they later died.
