Man Found Unresponsive With Gunshot Wound in Mount Clare Apartment

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a shooting that occurred in the Southwest District.

On May 5, at approximately 1:12 p.m., officers responded to the 1600 block of Cole Street to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers entered an apartment on the 400 block of S. Gilmor Street, where they located an unresponsive 31-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, homicide detectives have assumed control over the investigation.
