19-Year-Old Shot in West Baltimore

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Western District.

On May 1, at approximately 3:57 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital to investigate a report of a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment.

Upon arrival at the hospital, officers located an 19-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the back. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was in the 1600 block of N. Carey Street when he was shot
