Suspect Charged With Attempted Murder in South Baltimore Robbery Attempt

In reference to a shooting that occurred Feb. 10 in South Baltimore, officers have arrested 31-year-old Preston Freeman.

Freeman was arrested in connection to the shooting of a 36-year-old man, which occurred during the course of a robbery on the 4000 block of 5th Street. After he was shot, the victim walked to a Baltimore City Fire Department station located on the 400 block of Maude Avenue, where police were notified.

On Feb. 11, Southern District patrol officers arrested Freeman without incident, on the 3900 block of 5th Street. Freeman was then transported to the Central Booking & Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted murder.
