The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Southern District.
On Dec. 28, at approximately 1:54 a.m., Southern District officers responded to a parking lot on the 100 block of E. Cross Street to investigate a report of an unresponsive person. Upon arrival, they located an unresponsive man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his upper body.
Medics pronounced the victim deceased on scene.
Homicide detectives responded and have assumed control over the investigation.
