The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an incident involving the death of Daquan Parker, a 26-year-old homicide defendant and Baltimore resident, on Dec. 10.
Parker was initially accused alongside co-defendant Gerald McEachern, 24, in the death of 19-year-old Rasheed Lindsey last March. Lindsey was gunned down near the 3000 block of Spaulding Avenue on March 9, 2024, and succumbed to his injuries the following evening.
On Dec. 10, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Parker was shot and killed on the 1500 block of Russell Street. The shooting reportedly occurred outside a Royal Farms gas station located across from Horseshoe Casino. A 22-year-old man was also injured in the shooting, but is currently listed in stable condition after seeking treatment at a local hospital.
Though McEachern’s trial was initially set to proceed the day of Parker’s death, scheduling proceedings were postponed until Dec. 19 due to unspecified witness issues.
