Man Pleads Guilty to Robbing Sex Worker, Faces Separate Murder Charge

Reginald Raysor, 33, pleaded guilty to robbery before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Hope Tipton on Sept. 18, accepting a five-year sentence under the agreement that the prosecution would drop his remaining charges.

Raysor was initially charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault, armed robbery, firearm use in a felony or violent crime, reckless endangerment, and seven additional firearm violations for his alleged crimes against a sex worker on Aug. 28, 2024.

Prosecutors said Raysor robbed a sex worker of $60 after she performed sexual acts on him near the 2400 block of Guilford Avenue in East Baltimore. After robbing her, he reportedly shot at her and another woman as they fled.

The victim was present at the hearing and urged Judge Tipton to prosecute Raysor to the fullest extent of the law.

Raysor, who is represented by defense attorney Jerry Rodriguez, also faces charges in connection to the murder of Reginald Harrod, 59, which occurred less than a month after the robbery incident on Sept. 14, 2024. He is set to stand trial for Harrod’s murder beginning Oct. 1 before Judge Piper F. McKeithen.
