On July 12, at approximately 1:32 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 3900 block of Frederick Avenue after hearing gunfire.
Upon arrival, officers located a 56-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.
