The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Southern District.
On June 12, at approximately 6:50 p.m., Southern District officers responded to the 4300 block of 5th Street to investigate a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a 21-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the back.
The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Southern District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
