After ongoing plea negotiations, attempted murder defendant Felicia Thelma Mull agreed to a guilty plea on Dec. 18 with her sentencing anticipated on a later date.
Mull, 46, was initially charged with attempted first and second-degree murder and first and second-degree assault as well as four weapons charges in connection to the shooting of a 41-year-old man on Feb. 21. Although scheduled for trial on Wednesday morning, the defendant pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree murder and firearm use in a felony or violent crime before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Robert K. Taylor Jr.
The remaining charges were dismissed. A sentencing in accordance with this plea has not yet been scheduled.
Mull, who was represented by defense attorney Ryan Burke, was accused of having an argument with the victim on the 4200 block of Sheldon Avenue. She then shot the victim in his upper body.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, with Mull’s arrest following about three months later.
