The third day of testimony in a homicide trial began on Dec. 9 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Lynn Stewart Mays.

Dominic Miller, 29, is charged with first-degree murder, firearm usage in a felony or violent crime, and having a handgun on his person and vehicle in connection with a shooting that occurred on the 1800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue on July 11, 2023. He is represented by defense attorney Michael Tomko.

The victim Jonathan Williams, 37, was found lying in the driver’s seat of his vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Testimony from a Baltimore crime scene technician revealed that investigators found the alleged murder weapon in Miller’s dining room fully loaded. The weapon was shown to the jury as well as photos of Miller’s basement where investigators say they recovered a red bag containing 11 cellphones.

A DNA analyst told the jury that skin cells found on the handgun most probably were a match to Miller’s.

The trial is continuing.
