Murder Case Postponed After Weapon Located

A murder case was postponed by Baltimore City Circuit Judge Melissa K. Copeland from Judge Paul E. Albert‘s court after the prosecution received a report that the murder weapon in the had been located.

Brandon Fullard, 39, is charged with firearm use in a felony crime, having a loaded handgun on his person, having a loaded handgun in a vehicle, and felony second-degree murder of 31-year-old Brian Richardson. The murder happened on the northwest block of 3300 of Garrison Boulevard in Forest Park at a Carroll Gas Station.

On Nov. 12, 2023, surveillance footage allegedly shows Richardson, parking with his girlfriend in her BMW, going up to the window of a rental dark grey Toyota Camry where he was shot in the torso. Then the shooter drove away. Richardson’s girlfriend took Richardson to the hospital where he died from his wounds. The rental car was allegedly rented by Fullard.

The prosecutor asked Judge Copeland on Oct. 28 for a postponement since the alleged murder weapon has been discovered. Fullard’s defense attorney Roya Hanna agreed to the postponement, so she could discuss the new develop0ment.

A trial expected to last four days has been rescheduled for March 7, 2025.
