Homicide Detectives on Notice After Lakewood Avenue Shooting

On Oct. 7, at around 5:28 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the rear of the 1100 block of North Lakewood Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 26-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital to receive treatment for his injury. Due to the condition of the victim, Homicide detectives were notified.

Update: The victim in this case, 26-year-old Marques Reaves, was pronounced dead on Oct. 9.
