A man made a virtual appearance in Baltimore City Circuit Court Sept. 23 for a post-sentencing hearing but his attorney wasn’t there.
Lance Hickman, 30, was found guilty of attempted first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, firearm use in a felony violent crime, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, reckless endangerment, conspiracy to commit first- and second-degree assault, conspiracy to use a firearm in a felony violent crime, firearm possession with a felony conviction, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, having a loaded handgun on his person and in a vehicle, illegal possession of ammunition and discharge of firearm within Baltimore City on May 8, 2023,
Hickman appeared before Judge Troy K. Hill Monday over Zoom. However defense attorney Roland Brown emailed the court saying he couldn’t attend the proceeding.
Counsel will reconvene on Sept. 24.
Hickman received a sentence of life plus 25 years shooting for shooting the victim 15 times.
