Medics Pronounce Saint Georges Shooting Victim Dead on the Scene

On Sept. 18, at around 6:33 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 4100 block of Saint Georges Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive 30-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics responded and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene. 

Homicide detectives assumed control over this investigation. The Medical Examiner’s Office was notified and will respond to the scene.

Update: The victim in this case has been identified as Darryl Mitchell.
