Man Suffers Gunshot Wound to the Back After Southwest District Shooting

On Sept. 9, at approximately 2:40 p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded an area hospital for a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment for gunshot wound. 

Upon arrival at the hospital, officers located a 20-year-old male victim who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the back. The victim is listed in stable condition. 

The victims stated he was on the 700 block of North Woodington Road when he was shot. 

Southwestern District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Southwestern District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2488.
